Olympic Gold Medalist Talks Acupuncture

Daniel Kowalski, Olympic Gold, Silver and Bronze medalist in swimming, discusses the benefits of Japanese Acupuncture  in keeping his troublesome shoulders functioning and maintaining robust good health during the arduous training required to compete at the Olympics.

Daniel went from suffering from constant performance sapping flu’s and cold’s, to not being unwell at all during the 2 years of intense training and competition it took to swim at his 3rd Olympic Games.

He credits Japanese Acupuncture as a key factor behind his improved health and subsequent selection in the Olympic Swimming Team for Sydney 2000.

Daniel is the poolside interviewer for the Australian TV broadcast from the Beijing Olympics.

Comments

  1. There is a lot of debate in the press and science community trying to debunk acupuncture. i know this is not a scientific study, but what an accolade to have the anecdotal experience of an Olympic athlete – good interview and great to have an easy watch video.
