Long term acupuncture performance enhancement client, Fiona Cullen is the newly crowned dual Australian 100 metres Athletics Champion.

Fiona Cullen Dual Australian Athletics Champion.

Here in her own words is Fiona’s reaction to her awesome performance followed by the acupuncture treatment I performed 2 days prior to the commencement of the championships.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Boy does that feel good!

I am the 2008 Women’s 100m Australian Champion!

Unfortunately the weather was not as condusive last night to exceptional performances.

With the temperature hovering around 20 degrees and the wind (constant head winds) providing additional wind chill and wind resistence the times weren’t there to be had.

But in spite of that I ran two very good races and claimed my first 100m National Title against a field of mostly new and emerging talent. Not bad for a 28 (almost 29) year old!

It was wonderful to see real emotion in the eyes of the second and third place getters, Jodie Henry and Laura Verlinden, as they stood on the dais to accept their first senior national title medals.

So with all these fantastic feelings within me I move on to contest the 100m Hurdles tonight:

Heats 6:35pm

Final 8:20pm

Flying Fi – Dual 2008 Australian Champion – 100m & 100m Hurdles

What a fantastic three days of athletics competition!

For those of you what braved the wind and the cold to come out and see me claim my first 100m National Title and my second 100m Hurdlles National Title – thank you.

To all those who expressed unwaivering belief in me and offered unconditional support and encouragement throughout this season – thank you.

Fiona came to clinic on Tuesday in tears, she was distraught and for the very first time in the 3 years I have been looking after her she was talking of giving it away.

I performed the lightest of Liver Yang Deficiency treatments ( Liv.3 – Ki.3 – GB.40 with the addition of Sp.1 as root treatment consolidating with Back shu points Bl.14- 18 – 20 – 23 – 58 ). The depth of insertion for the root treatment was approx. 1mm. No needles deeper than 2mm!

Two days later she pulled the proverbial rabbit out of the hat winning the 100m on the flat and finished off with the 100m hurdles.

Gentle Traditional Acupuncture can be extremely powerful at throwing the energetic switch!!!

Congratulations all round are definitely in order.

Hope you hav a gud 1.
