Rough Day in Clinic
By Alan | November 7, 2007
Yesterday was one of my roughest days in clinic for a long time. One of those days where a majority of clients regardless of their condition were irritable, irritating or irritated.
No reflection on me at all ?
Fortunately most felt better after treatment, especially the 3 pregnant ones.
One of whom is threatening early delivery at 32 weeks (cannot stop running around, super busy lifestyle).
Tonifed the Kidney meridian with judicious needling of Ki.10, a very powerful point in such situations plus we administered 9 cones of rice grain moxa on SP 6 plus gentle in situ. needling in the sacral area should see her hold on for a while longer.
Another had been bothered by chronic headaches and has responded brilliantly to Spleen root treatments, Pe7 – Sp3 and shunting of either ST44 or ST 36 in addition to relavent back shu points.
Excuse my brevity but I have a 1 hour commute, busy day in clinic and a Brazilian party to go too tonight.
Life is never dull!
If you want more details on these treatments feel free to email alan@worldacupuncture.com
In the meantime I wish you a good time for a long time.
