Last Post From New York

G’day,

Just a few days left before the flying kangaroo transports me back to the antipodes.

It has been a sensational journey.

I hope I have been able to convey  some of the magic through the images that I have managed to post when I have had internet access.

My posts have been necessarily short on words as time has been a precious commodity.

I am writing this post in the dining room of Dr. Ray Rubio and his delightful family in the hills behind Malibu, California.

I arrived via the ‘Surfliner train’ from San Diego yesterday.

San Diego is another fun filled chapter of what has become a multi dimensional visit to the USA 2008.

Ray is preparing a Mexican style feast for the BBQ and we will be dining poolside this evening.

It is 90deg.F today and I am reveling in a surrogate summer as the sound of the children playing in the water drift in the from outside.

Today will be the last post carrying images from New York, already I have a 10 day backlog of images but I remain determined to convey my impression of USA 2008 .

Hope all is well in your world,

Alan
